Cole Whitehead '21 Recruiting Profile

I'm currently a junior in high school at Center Point - Urbana (Iowa). I am a 3 time state qualifier, finishing 6th as a sophomore and earning runner-up at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament as a junior. I’ve progressed every year, and I’m looking forward to pushing myself and continuing to make gains at the collegiate level.

I not only work hard on the wrestling mat, but I also bring that same work ethic to the classroom. I have earned a 3.7 GPA, and have also been elected as my class president for the past three years. 

Along with wrestling, I’ve been in the starting lineup for the last two years on our soccer team that qualified for state in 2019. I have also excelled in cross country, where I was the 5th runner on a team that placed 3rd at the 2019 state meet. I’m a leader who looks to push myself and my teammates in everything I do. I realize that my actions reflect not only on myself, but I represent my family, my team, my school, and my community. A responsibility that I take seriously in all my interactions both on and off the mat.
