My name is Tyson Elliott. I am a wrestler at Newton Highschool in Iowa. I have had a total 2 of football. I started as a 7th grader in middle school.I prefer neutral as to me, it’s my best position to wrestle out of. As a freshman, I currently weigh 216 lbs, and my height is about 5’6, with a 6 second 40. After college my goal Is to be a wrestling coach, or coach in general, but as a permanent career I’m not sure yet. My friends describe me as hard-working, talented, passionate, and caring. As an athlete, they say I’m a leader and I am always pushing my team to be better and putting them before me. And I do, as a team sport you put the team before you. My work ethic is great and I don’t give up. If it’s something I am really passionate about I will always work towards my goals. I am also really humble. If I lose a wrestling match (I wrestle, play football, and throw shot put for track and field, and I am thinking about other sports too.) I congratulate my opponent because I know they deserved to win. I take losses as a chance to get better. I think a great feature of myself is my grit and/or my work ethic. I don’t give up and I work as hard as I possibly can. These are a few things on why I think I would be a good choice for your team. I wish to do any of my sports on a d1 team. Whether that’s for football, wrestling, shot put etc.
