I have had only 2 years of wrestling training and I placed 2nd at MIAA Regionals and placed 6th at MIAA D2 States and qualified for All-States. I feel this is one of greatest accomplishments that I am most proud of. In addition, I received the most coachable wrestler award from my coaches and the Fall River Herald News Wrestler of the Year 2023.
Coach Recommendation:
Jimmy started wrestling just this past season and picked up the sport faster than anyone I’ve seen at this stage in their life. Not only does Jimmy have tremendous strength and fast-twitch speed but also has the intangibles that cannot be taught on that mat. I foresee Jimmy jumping leaps and bounds as he trains during his very first off-season and will continue to progress throughout his career. The sky truly is the limit for him with so much untapped potential. Above all else, he is a great person to have in the wrestling room. He is a leader and holds himself to a standard above the rest of his peers, in the best way possible, and others look up to him because of this. Jimmy would be a great asset to any competitive varsity roster and will show that next season.
