First and foremost, I am different from other wrestlers as I am deaf and wear cochlear implants. I do not wear my processors when wrestling and wrestle completely deaf. I have been wrestling this way since 7th grade. I was picked to be the Captain of my high school wrestling team my Junior year due to my hard work and commitment to the team and its goals.I was awarded Most Valuable Wrestler my Junior year.. I will continue to be Captain through my Senior year. I have participated in multiple instate wrestling tournaments and have placed in each of those contests. I placed 4th in the Baystate Games in July 2022, this competition include wrestlers from 6 states. I competed in National in Virginia Beach in March 2022 and achieved a modest goal of winning at least one match on the National stage.
