I have goals to become an All Amerian and National Champ in college. I am a very hard worker and determined to get my personal and wrestling goals accomplished even if it means I have to sacrifice. My mindset and aspirations are to outwork every athlete and teammate until I have the confidence to get on the mat and believe I will win. My commitment goes beyond regularly scheduled practices. My practice is done when I know I have achieved my goals for that day, only then will I be satisfied. I possess a strong will to win for the team, get pins and points from any position. I plan to be aggressive with any opponent, no matter who they are. In middle school, I was a mutli sport, playing football, basketball, wrestling, and track. I excelled at all of them from being the starting point guard on my basketball team to being one of the fastest runners on the track team. I was 3 seconds away from breaking two school records in 8th-grade track and field. I started playing baseball at the age of 5 and joined my first tournament team at 12 yrs old stepping in is as the power hitter a skilled center fielder. As a Freshman and Sophomore at Rochester High School, I was the starting running back and as a Varsity player, I am on the defensive line. I have wrestled since 6th grade and have achieved top 10 rankings in the state and placing 2nd at counties in 8th grade. At the weight class of 135 and 140 in high school this year and last year, I've beaten some of the best by outworking them with my blast doubles and scrambling. I've achieved the top 5 in every tournament I have competed in this year with a hand full of pins.
Although I have struggled in school with dyslexia and grades may be average, I find my learning disability has motivated me to work harder, keep a positive attitude and focus on the areas I can accel. Wrestling is my passion and I would love to have the opportunity to represent a college or university and be a part of making a difference!
