I hope to gain the highest level of achievement possible, a NCAA division 1 championship of course. Although I had a rough season injuring my right radius in a preseason practice, then breaking both my left radius and ulna in a freak weightroom accident mid season. I still push myself everyday to be the best I can on as well as off the mat, I play soccer(positions being right defensive back, and right wing) as well as running track (participating in the 4x8 relay, open 1600m, and open 800m). I constantly push myself mentally and physically no matter what I’m doing, I also try to push everyone around me, if I see you slacking I’m going to let you know about it because just as much as I wish to succeed i want my team too as well. After breaking my arm I was unable to continue my season, sadly taking me out right before districts, despite the injury I still plan on having a very successful senior season. I’m mentally and physically prepared and I continue to prepare myself even more by the day. Breaking my arm didn’t get me away from the wrestling room, I continued to come to practice everyday, even cleaning the mats during my gym class. Soon after my injury one of my coaches Steven Carter asked me if I wanted to help coach the Roseville middle school wrestling team, I helped the middle school with coaching, conditioning, and during the meets, Id helped keep the book and coach. Wrestling is honestly what I love and what I want to pursue, I give my 110% and if not more everyday at practice, in the weight room, and on my off time. I want to be the best and and have a positive impact no matter the program I’m apart of, I’m just happy to continue my wrestling career.
