I hope to continue wrestling in college to further develop my discipline, hard work, and winning mentality. Wrestling has been a big part of my life ever since middle school. I have made lifelong friendships through wrestling and a family like bond with coaches and teammates through the years. Wrestling has taught me to never give up and that there is always room for improvement. A lot of the important life lessons I have learned from wrestling translate into my academics. That is why I aspire to wrestle in college, to further my discipline and hard work that translates into academics and life. I hope to improve not only myself in college, but also my teammates. I expect to develop my teammates not only on the mat but as individuals through hard work and creating family bonds in the wrestling room.
