I write to express my deep passion for wrestling and my strong desire to continue pursuing this sport at the collegiate level. My name is Joseph Kim, and I am a Korean-American high school student dedicated to the art of wrestling both on and off the mat.

My college goals and aspirations revolve around academically striving and becoming the best wrestler I can be. I understand that college wrestling requires work ethic, discipline and relentless dedication, and I am fully prepared to meet these challenges head on I want to help your team succeed and receive a valuable education that will shape my future.

On the mat, I spent countless hours honing my craft, studying opponents, and pushing my limits to be my personal best. I thrive under pressure and am always willing to try harder to improve. When I get out of bed, I maintain a strong academic record, which means I am able to balance the demands of sports and schoolwork.

In terms of character, I think my respect for my teachers, staff and opponents is a defining characteristic. I approach every match with sportsmanship and integrity, and I am known for my positive attitude and leadership skills both on and off the boxing mat.
