October of last year I turned 14 and made the 172lb weight class for my JV wrestling team. I went 5-0 at my first tournament by way of all pins and it grabbed the attention of the varsity wrestling coach. I accepted his offer to wrestle with the varsity team for the remainder of the season. I am discipline, I am determination, I am a self motivated sportsman. I'm just as passionate off the mat with my discipline as I am on the mat. I am focused on my nutrition, weight training, conditioning and off season wrestling clubs. While wrestling for my varsity team I was just as committed to my academics as I am my passion for wrestling. I have maintained grades at high honor roll level all 3 marking periods. I will continue my path to do what it takes to become a NYS Champion and commit to a college with a wrestling team that fits me well and that has an engineering program to further my knowledge and interest in design and development of structures and systems.
