Anthony Peck '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony Peck, I’m a hardworking student athlete.  I recently started wrestling and I have started off well. I placed 4th in the hardest tournament in the city. I have room for potential and I'm willing to listen to whatever my coach tells me to do. I can jump around weight classes or fill in if needed. I plan on going down to 174 next season. I am a student of the sport whatever I learn from practice or watch from film I apply it to my arsenal of moves. I am a good leader as I help my teammates who need help on certain moves or I teach them new moves, if they are struggling with something I try to help them fix it to better them. Academic wise my grades don't represent me, I have many responsibilities at home so I try getting to it as much as possible.  I feel that If I had less to worry about at home I'd easily over achieve in my classes. Coming from playing different sports being junior varsity basketball, varsity cross country, varsity baseball, and now wrestling, it has definitely became my favorite sport and I will continue working at it as long as I can, Thank you.
