Hi my name is Adam Shorter. I wrestle 126Ib for Hoke County High School. I attend Sandhoke Early College High School where I will graduate with my high school diploma and associates degree in 4 years. In college I look to become a national champion and a great leader for the team. What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I never give up no matter how uneven the odds are. I always keep an optimistic attitude on and off the mat as a leader in the classroom as well as the wrestling room. What makes me different from other recruits is that I use my intelligence and not just strength and speed on the mat. I did not win matches because I was bigger, faster, or stronger than my opponent. I won matches because I was smarter than my opponent and I wanted more. By getting stronger, faster, and more familiar in all positions I will win more matches.
