Cannon Potts '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been competing in the sport of wrestling for as long as I can remember. I’ve always wished to compete at the next level in college, however I never was too serious about it until after my Sophomore season in High School. I made the decision to become the best wrestler I could, right after I lost in the blood rounds of the state tournament. Since that moment I have dedicated myself to wrestling and really became a student of the sport. After a long and hard year of training I took 2nd place at the State Tournament as a Junior. However I’m not done yet, my goal is to still become the best wrestler and person as I can. I believe I still have a lot of growing room which will help me succeed in the next level. I have always put academics first, I have a 3.8 weighted GPA and I have taken 5 AP Classes.
