Mason Thomas '21 Recruiting Profile

 Dear Coaches,

Greetings from Virginia Beach, Virginia. My name is Mason P. Thomas and I am currently a sophomore  at Green Run High School.  I have been wrestling for 2 years and have played football ever since I can remember.   Academically, I can proudly say that I am a member of National Honor Society and currently have a 3.97 GPA with this 3rd quarter grading period. This past wrestling season I have learned so much.  This was truly my first year wrestling on the Varsity team and my record was 34-11.  I placed 4th in VHSL Region 5A and was able to experience VHSL State Wrestling for my first time.  After my regular high school wrestling season ended, I joined the Town Center Wrestling Club. With the club, I have been able to travel to Fredericksburg, VA where I competed in the 2019 VACW Sophomore and Junior States. I placed 1st in Sophomore bracket and 3rd in the Junior bracket.  

I know that my experience from being involved in sports as well as leadership workshops here at the high school level will help me when I am in my college years.  

In my collegiate years, I would love to continue wrestling and perhaps even play football. I know that with my level of focus, discipline and dedication as well as my  ability to learn that I would be a positive asset to your program.
