I’m going to be Junior at Ashwaubenon High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The thing I love the most about sports is the competition, because that is when I truly feel alive whether on the mat or the field. An early realization was the loss of my brother to cancer. Experiencing this has helped me stay driven because of the realization of every time I get on the mat, field, or in the classroom, I know the next time is not guaranteed and right “now” requires my best. This does not take away from the fact that this also helps me with long term goals- winning state, being part of a championship team, and maintaining a 3.5 GPA or better while being a three sport athlete...just to name a few.
Going forward my college and long term goals include Graduating with a 3.5 GPA or better, competing at a collegiate championship level, and contributing to my team to help achieve all that we can. I believe these goals will assist me in my career goals of becoming a Physical Therapist. I want to help other athletes overcome injury and return to competition. Another goal is that I would like to help lead and coach young wrestlers and give back to the sport that has created so many opportunities for me.
Thank you and Sincerely
Connor Ramage
