My goals after high school include going to a 4-year university and with an intended major in nutrition and business. I also am hoping to find a spot on a wrestling team on any level/division as long as it means I get to participate in the sport I love.
I have been wrestling since kindergarten and have loved the sport all my life. Wrestling is about 70% of my life; my mind is almost always on the subject of wrestling, but I certainly do not let it take over my academics. I actively pursue challenges to push myself to become the best I can be. During the summer I go to camps and Sunday practices (local school has open mats and coaches), I wrestle freestyle and Greco in the spring, I weight train 4 days a week year round, and I go to preseason tournaments as well. I do my best to persevere through obstacles; during the winter (Jan 2019) my school had multiple snow days where we could not have practice, so I reached out to coaches from around the area to get a practice in when not many others did. My coachability and tenacity, allow me to heighten my wrestling and academics easily. All of these attributes of mine make college wrestling a good fit for me.
