I love the sport of wrestling and would love to continue beyond my high school career at the collegiate level. I work year-round at this sport that I love. Along with my dedication and passion to wrestling comes my dedication to my studies. I am 4.0 student that is taking many challenging classes and currently ranked #1 in my class as a junior.
I am a three-time Individual Folkstyle Wrestling Champion for Division 2 in the State of Wisconsin. My freshman year I won the championship at 106#'s, my sophomore year I won it at 113#'s and in February of 2022 which was my junior year of high school I won the WIAA State Championship at the 132# weight class. My overall goal for high school is to be a 4-time State Wrestling Champion as well as valedictorian of the class of 2023.
In April of 2022, I competed on the national level at the 2022 U.S. World Team Trials in Las Vegas, Nevada for U17 at the 60kg weight for Greco and took 3rd Place. For the summer of 2022, I am training for both Greco and Freestyle Wrestling to compete at the Junior National Championship in Fargo in July.
I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working wrestlers and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am currently a member of our NHS chapter, student government, and compete on the Math Competition Team.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the mat. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
