Casey Biertzer '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Casey Biertzer. I am part of the graduating class of 2020 at West Bend West High School in West Bend, Wisconsin. I have been wrestling since 6th grade, I wrestled for our local club the West Bend Wildcats and my middle school team at Badger Middle school. Now I wrestle on Varsity for West Bend West at 285 pounds. I have tried my hardest to always stay positive and be a good teammate. I have also learned that not everything is given to you and you have to work for what you want. At whatever college I may go to, I want them to know that I will put all my time and effort into them and make sure to not make them regret choosing me over any other wrestler. I have volunteered hours of my time helping run a local fish fry with my grandparents, at our local wrestling tournaments, countless hours helping our local little league program, helping with clean up projects and at any local event my mom's business is associated with.  I am willing to help anyone and everyone. School has never been easy for me. It has always been a challenge, but I am willing to do anything to get the grades I need in order to wrestle and improve myself. My grades aren't where I would like them to be, but I continue to try and improve them. My main goal for the future is to become an accountant and maybe own my own business one day.
