Personal Statement

Dear Coaches:

I am class of 2027.  I want to start my college search the earlier the better.   My goal and desire is to play baseball at the D1 level and to study  and major in the area of Sports Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

I love baseball and love being on a team. I have been playing baseball since 5 years old.  I am an all-position player but mostly 3B, SS, 2B, and pitcher.

My highlights are:

  1. Made the All-Star teams in Eastlake Little League for 4 years in a row (9, 10, 11, and 12-year-old teams.)
  2. Made cut and played for Eastlake Middle School 7th & 8th grade.
  3. For the last 3 years, I have been a player's assistant on the Eastlake Challenger league (disabled /handicapped kids.)
  4. Playing on A, AA  & Major travel ball teams since age 7. I have been on GBG (Garcia Parra Group) for the last 5 years.  I am placed there as a MIF (mainly SS or 3B) & pitcher.  I bat 1st to 4th and I am very consistent in offense and defense.
  5. 2023 Made the USA International Team for the Japan Tournament in August.
  6. 2024 Got awarded MVP Freshman Player of the year and played up JV for Spring baseball season.
  7. 2024 Made the Varsity team for Fall 2024.

I work to have the 2% mentality and to focus on growing as an athlete.  I have a notebook and write down 2 positive things and 2 things to improve on after every game. I review that with my dad after the games.

For college, I want to study and stay around the topic of sports marketing, business & entrepreneurship.  I focus on my grades to get into a strong school. I currently have a 4.0 GPA.
