Aloha my name is Noa Uchida, thank you for your interest. Baseball has been the game I loved to play since the age of 5, it has taught me to be a team player and to strive to doing my best for the team. I want to play baseball as long as possible and understand playing at the collegiate level, it's not something everyone has the opportunity to achieve. I am a team player, very coach-able, and strive on hard work to be the best I can be.
I keep it a point to keep up with my school work as the importance of a Student Athlete is being an excellent student first. I have achieved a 3.17 grade point average in my Freshman year in high school, but, will be working harder to bring up my grade point average before I graduate from High School. It is very important for me to work hard in the classroom as well as on the field.
Also, I believe being a very productive community member in college is just as important as being a competitive Student Athlete.

- Noa continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (85 mph velocity) on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

- Official Scouting Report OF/2B POSITION PROJECTION 08/11/2019 - College PREP - Waipahu, HI Noa is a lean and athletic 2022 that plays OF/2B. In the OF Noa shows effective footwork with agile range as he fields the ball in an athletic stance. He presents a strong glove and makes clean exchanges. He makes throws with a loose arm action to the infield with online throws. At the plate he sets up with a tall and slightly open stance getting a square stride. He has good timing getting his foot down on time as he fires his lower half through. Noa gets the barrel on plane making square contact and uses a gap to gap approach to all fields. At 2B, Noa shows active footwork with agile range. He fields the ball low with a firm glove making a quick exchange out front. His throws are consistent and online around the infield. Profile
