As I get closer to completing high school I wish to continue my studies and my baseball career. I plan to do this because my goal is to play in the MLB this has been a goal and dream for both me and my family.
What makes me a good candidate is that I believe I was not born into this sport. I like to take credit and say Iearned myself since I did not have someone to teach me. I did this by watching the Chicago Cubs whenever I had the chance, practiced hitting, fielding and catching based on what I saw. I looked into programs and with my parents help was able to start what I love.
I consider myself different because I consider my self a good teammate I try to bring my team together and carry a good bond during the season. I always follow the rules and advice my coaches give me because I know they mean the best. During my sophomore year, I was injured, I broke two of my throwing hand fringer bones that caused me to be out half of my high school baseball team season this caused some sadness thinking I was done. But with the help of my baseball family and my family, I was able to overcome this. This made me appreciate the sport more. Academically I always have a hard time remembering that school goes first, so I try to balance both baseball and school the same. Overall I am an average student.
