I aspire to play a sport in college and I am in love with the game of baseball. My goal is to eventually be playing baseball at a D1 level and I know it takes a lot of dedication for this goal to be fulfilled. I believe I am a good candidate for a college coach because I am good in the classroom and had a 4.429 Gpa this past semester. I work extra hard away from the field when weight lifting with my teammates at school or getting extra time hitting in the cages if I am struggling at the plate or need improvement. I am different in character from other recruits because I will do whatever it takes to get the job done for a team, because the name on the front of a jersey is much larger than the name on the back for a reason. The team should always come first. In my athletics, I have been fairly successful by winning awards such as the Silver Slugger award with my high school team. I recently played for the Gameday USA all-star team in which we went down to a tournament in Florida and won the whole thing. I look forward to achieving bigger and better things with my travel/club team in the future seasons to come as well as with my High School team. I am also an avid worker in the classroom... We are called STUDENT-athletes for a reason, because the student should come first.
