Joseph (Joe) Agrusti '24 Recruiting Profile

As a 9 year old, my proudest moment of my basbeall career was winning the MCLL Minors Championship.  It was really fun and I was playing aganist people two age groups above, so I was really proud of myself.  I started to beccome interested in a baseball at 9 years old when I started playing in tournaments.  I was a top player in my league as a pitcher and shortstop.  So, I was recognized for my determination to the sport.  For that reason, even if we didn't win, I was very thankful just to play.  I have learned that I'm more competitive than I thought I was.  as I play, I take mental notes in my head so that next time that play presents itself, I fix my mistake.  I enjoy working my coaches and teammates.

With my academics, I want to study and learn things that interest me, which makes leaning more enjoyable .   I have had to overcome a lot over my career.  I fractured my wrist one year, then three weeks later had to prep for a championship game.  One unique characteristic about me is I love to make people laugh.  Making people laugh makes me happy and puts me in a good mood which also makes me more successful at anything I do.  I would love to continue my baseball journey and play baseball at the college level, after high school.    I am a very good teammate on the field and in the dugout.  I am also extremly coachable.
