Hello! My name is Sydney Allen. When picking a college that I would like to spend my academic and athletic years at, I care greatly about getting good grades while still being able to participate in field hockey. Being in a good academic program is very important to me so that I gain the right skills and knowledge to one day be able to get a job. I find myself being interested in sports medicine, and I hope to find a program fitting to that interest. I think that field hockey also will contribute to my learning of sports medicine if that is the career path I decide, due to the need to stay safe and healthy while playing. I believe that I would be a good candidate when looking to be on a collegiate team because I am open minded and eager to improve my skills. If my coach has critiques and/or constructive criticism, I take it to heart and try my best to work on the suggestion. I overall want to become a better player and in order to do so I am willing to put in the work. I also love to be able to work with my teammates to create good chemistry off and on the field.
