Baseball to me is my life. Everything that I have done with my free time since I can remember has been to make me better at baseball. I am the kid who volunteers to work the concession stand for our baseball team fundraiser instead of sitting in the stands watching a football game. I am the kid who volunteers for every baseball camp so I can help other kids with baseball. I am constantly working on improving my skills by going to every optional practice and doing any extra clinic that is offered. I am a very motivated person and will do any extra work if it can help me reach my goals and improve my baseball ability.
I also thrive on challenging myself in the classroom and taking advantage of new opportunities. I was invited to participate in Good Counsel's Honors Program as a freshman and have taken 4-5 Honors/Pre-AP classes per semester since entering high school. I was most recently accepted into the challenging International Baccalaureate Program that will begin my junior year and have been recognized as a candidate to the Good Counsel's Chapter of the National Honor Society. Due to my success in the classroom, I was also invited to participate in a National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security on July 14-19, 2019 at University of MD. I had the opportunity to enact a National Security cyberspace attack where I was given the roll of Press Secretary. Working with the "President" and informing the public gave me leadership skills and career insight into politics/law/ and government opportunities that I am now very interested in. I love the opportunities my high school has awarded me and I look forward to carrying on my zeal into college and baseball.
