When on the lacrosse field, I try to be a strong leader for my team and encourage them to be the best players they can be so that we can be the best team we can be. I have always found this to be one of my strong points, and I hope to carry this on at the collegiate level.
I have been playing lacrosse since Fourth Grade, and my passion for the game has only grown since then. When I step out on the field, I am completely focused on my game and contributing all I can to the success of my team. My coaches have always said that I am “very coachable” and that is something that I pride myself on. I am always open to new ideas and tactics to improve my game.
I have also been blessed with something that nobody can teach: great size. Going into the season my junior year, I am currently 6’6 and 220 pounds. I work out in the weight room 5-6 times a week lifting and working on agility and speed training to improve all aspects of my game.
My academic success is something I am most proud of. I applied for and was accepted to Good Counsel’s highly-competitive STEM Program. I finished my Freshman year with a cumulative GPA of 4.07, and my sophomore year with a 4.26.My junior year, I am currently taking 5 AP/IB courses, earning a 4.8 GPA the first quarter. I know being a student is a big part of college lacrosse, and I plan to continue excelling in my classes.
In college, I plan to major in Civil or Aerospace Engineering, as those fields are where my love and passion lie. I look for a school that can mix my athletic and academic careers.
