October 2017Personal Statement
I am a junior at Natick High. I am hungry to continue my growth and development as a student and as an athlete. My coaches (football, basketball, and baseball) tell me that I am extremely coachable and that I have the ability to execute the lessons taught. I take pride in this aspect of my personality, on and off the field.
I am a diligent student achieving high honors every term of my high school career. I enjoy the classroom
Most of all, I feel at home on the diamond and under pressure, I want the ball hit to me at the crucial moment and I want to be up at the plate in the bottom of the ninth. I thrive in success and in failure since it makes me want to succeed all the more
As a sophomore, I batted 3rd in the lineup and played SS and 2B. As a Junior his year, I will be pitching as well. In addition to my passion for baseball I also play football and have been elected captain of Natick High Football for my senior year.
I bring leadership, skills, and joy to the classroom and the clubhouse. I hope to yours too.

- 06/04/2017 - College PREP - Medford (Boston), MA Felix is a lean, athletic SS who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays clean actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper angles and attacks balls playing through with his body. Glove action is soft/sure and he presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds/turn of the double play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 3 years to further develop, Felix has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.
