For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to play college baseball. Baseball is my first love, and I know playing college ball is no easy feat. Trying to achieve this goal has helped shape me as a person in many ways.
I have learned to become a leader on the baseball field and in the classroom. I enjoy helping people and giving them tips on how to improve. I am one of the most coachable players you will find, as stated by many past and present coaches. I am a great listener and can pick up on things very quickly. I have a first in first out mentality. I strive to be the first to practice and I am always the last one out. I often will stay after and take extra batting practice or field ground balls with my dad, or help teammates with things they need to work on. I am a very versatile player and can be utilized in every position on the field, except catcher. I can play each position for you, and I will play it well. I am a flexible and dependable player.
As a student, I am always working to improve my education. I am well respected by my teachers and my peers. I want to attend a college where I can reach my full potential in both academics and athletics. My goal is to find the best college that suits me academically and a college that allows me to compete in the sport I love. I believe I can make a difference in the college I attend, and the team that I play for. I will leave knowing I made a lasting mark on the community and my peers.
