I first fell in love with the game of Golf when my Grandmother gave me a set of clubs to hit around the yard. I joined the Junior PGA when I was in 4th grade and played there for two years. I then jumped to play in the New Hampshire Golf Association junior tour and continue to play on it to this day. I played there and on my Middle Schools' golf team, but it was never my main sport. I was always a baseball and soccer kid, but in 8th grade, I realized that Golf is where my talent and passion lies and made the switch to focus on Golf solely. I made the Varsity Golf team at my high school my freshman year and received the Rookie of the year award on the team. I have played in every single match throughout my three years on the team except for one. My junior year has been my best year so far, both individually and as a team. The team went 19-1 and came in 5th at the State Championship. I finished 8th individually and was the only one on the team to qualify for the Individual championship. During the Individual championship, I shot the third-best score on the day and jumped to 5th place overall, and made 2nd Team All-State. I received the MVP award on the team. I can't wait to see what I can do in my Senior year. Golf is intriguing to me as I find its complexity fun to conquer; something is calming about the game to me. I work hard both on the course and in the classroom, and my goal is to play in college. I can't wait to see how far I can take my game.
