Alexander Martinez '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a proud scholar-athlete.  I was raised in a household of  educators.  My Father is a school administrator  and my mother is a teacher.  My Dad played D1 college baseball and is currently a high school baseball coach for the past 3 decades.  He has taught me how to conduct myself as a gentleman on and off the field.  I have a reputation of being the hardest worker on the field.   I work hard year round to improve my skillset including my strength & speed.  I was taught that it takes an entire year to prepare for a season.  This off-season, I trained at Louisiana’s Top Velocity facilities to improve my arm strength.   I now have topped out at 86MPH on the mound.   This past November 22, 2020 ImpactBaseball.com ranked me as their Top Prospect at their ID Camp that was held in North Carolina.   I am a MIF/3B and topped out throwing 88mph from SS to 1st Base.  A LH Hitter with excellent bat speed and a short stroke who can drive the ball with authority & good power to all fields.  Looking forward to to getting an opportunity to join your college program.  I am willing  to travel out of state to attend college.
