Matthew Jung '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate academic goals are to attend a four-year college that will provide me with a strong basis in a pre-veterinarian program. In the classroom, I am inquisitive, goal-driven, and not afraid to ask questions. I'm also eager to learn and willing to cooperate.  For my collegiate athletic goals, I am looking to contribute to a successful program with a team that has a welcoming and natural chemistry. Whatever spot the team needs me to fill, I can cover it. Whether that be in the rotation, bullpen, or at first base. Just like in the classroom, I am willing to learn and to try anything new and I get along with everybody. In the game, I strive to make all my teammates better through competition. I stay level headed during stressful situations and always aid my teammates during their struggles.
