Samuel Gamello '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sam Gamello, I grew up in New York's Capital District and I am an Honor Role Student Athlete set to graduate in 2022.  The word that best sums me up as a person is "Teammate."  I'm a First-baseman with quick hands; I like to think of myself as a consistent hitter that can get on base while also forcing the defense to respect the deep shot, but I am ready to step into any role that the team needs me to play.  I know baseball is a game, but winning is important to me, and I am ready to contribute to a winning culture.  I play for the name on the front of the jersey and the guys in the dugout, not the name on the back of my jersey.  I look forward to any opportunity to continue playing the game I love at a competitive level.  Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
