Hello,
My name is Shane Gorton. I am a left-handed pitcher for Maine-Endwell High School, RBI Thunder Baseball, Baseball U PA and Team Eiger. My goal is to continue competing in the sport I love throughout the collegiate level and beyond. I feel that I would be a great addition your baseball program because I pride myself on maintaining a solid work ethic, positive attitude and focusing on the task at hand. Taking things seriously while enjoying the game I love is a big part of what helps make a team better and as a result can also bring the team together. While I might not be the most vocal person, my actions definitely speak louder than words and my actions make me the loudest guy on the field. This was evident by my being awarded the Maine Endwell Baseball 2021 Thomas Tull Spartan Award which is given annually to the player who exhibits leadership qualities through their focus, dedication and work ethic while setting an example for teammates to follow. I feel this mindset along with the stats and grades in my profile, positively differentiate me from many other players and would make me a great addition to your program.
