I am currently a junior in high school who has always had a love of baseball since the age of 5 playing T ball. When I was 8 years old I tried out and made my first travel team. At that time I was not the best player on the team but continued chasing other players until I became a starting player. Since then I have continued to play travel baseball and have been a starting center fielder. I also pitched but on an inconsistent basis. As a sophomore which was my first year of school ball since COVID did not allow for a freshman season I had become a pitcher who was part of the regular rotation.
I am a goal setter. I continue to set goals both academically and athletically. Last year I achieved the high honor roll for my entire sophomore year. This year I wanted to challenge myself to take an AP class. I enjoy working out and playing golf in my spare time. I like to set weight lifting goals as well. I also wrestle for my high school team. I am positive and uplift my teammates whenever I can. I consider myself very coachable and look to my coaches to point out what I can do better next time. I feel baseball has allowed me to juggle all of my responsibilities as well as grow as an individual.
I would like to continue to play baseball at an institution that is going to challenge me academically and athletically.
