Braden Reid '24 Recruiting Profile

I’m a Right-handed pitcher from Norwich NY.  I began playing baseball at 7 years old and fell in love with it. I have had my top speeds for fastballs verified at Nike Development Camp to be 83 with speed maintained through multiple simulated innings pitched. I can throw a consistent curveball, changeup, cutter, 2-seam and 4-seam. I just started my senior year in HS and my primary position on my team is pitcher, but I also play first and second base. I have proven to be an incredibly accurate pitcher frequently pitching 7 inning complete games with less than 90 pitches, and upwards of a 3 to 1 strike to ball ratio. 

I am extremely dedicated and willing to put in the extra work each and everyday to be the best I can be. I am the first one to practice and the last one to leave. My teammates would also say that I always put the team first and the goals and accomplishments of the team ahead of my own personal statistics. 

I am looking to play baseball in college for a program that can utilize my skills and help me grow as a player. I believe with the right program I can get continue to get stronger and add velocity while maintaining accuracy.
