I am a crafty RHP that throws 83-85 mph. However, my secondary pitches deliver the most success. My changeup and slurve tend to get a lot of weak contact. In the classroom I work hard to maintain a respectable grade point average. I often get creative with my assignments in all subjects, and I'm not afraid to ask for help when I need it. I have always been used to playing with older kids, as I began playing a year up on my travel team by the time I was 10. I also have been on the varsity baseball team since freshman year. Being around older players has given me the opportunity to learn and grow as a baseball player and a person. In order to stay in good shape and maintain my skills, I started lifting at a baseball facility a few towns over. When it was time to get an internship for my SUNY Science Research class, I began researching there. By collecting valuable data about the ins and outs of pitching, I have gained a new perspective that very few baseball players my age have. This process also allowed me to make new connections with coaches and other players in this area. It is important to have a solid network of smart people in the recruiting process. In fact, I still talk to one of coaches that has moved away. With the help of my parents and peers, I believe I can compete at the collegiate level for baseball. I know it won't be easy, but I am a determined individual that is ready to conquer the next level.
