Aidan Hoyt '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aidan Hoyt, I am a senior at Smithtown West High School.  I have played for my school's baseball team since my freshman year as both a pitcher and first baseman and for my travel team Diamond Baseball Academy. I stand at 6'2", weigh 195 lbs , bat and pitch from the left side .  I had an ERA 1.42 and a BA .375. I have a cumulative average of 2.81 . I volunteer as a Police Explorer and as a member of the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corp. I have been volunteering at food drives since I was about ten years of age and it is through these opportunities of serving my community that I have found my passion for my course of study.  I have spent my teenage years balancing my schedule between school, my community, my devotion and training for the sport of baseball and my part-time job.  As the nation has been trying to deal with the pandemic and my baseball career as been stalled I still have been active with my training with personal coaches for both pitching and batting plus a personal coach for weight lifting.  I feel that my work ethic and devotion for this sport and my community would be an asset to any team.
