Preston Soluri Do...Personal Statement
I was fortunate to grow up in a family that instilled in me the importance of family, school, sports, and friendships. Since I was seven years old, I have played baseball, soccer, and basketball. My family has always been there for me, and I will be there for them. Their sacrifices to support my sports activities have motivated me to excel in school. As a junior, I have taken college classes through the SUNY New Visions program, and I have been a member of the Honor Society since middle school. Now that I am a senior, I am excited to find a school that will allow me to pursue my education in the field of physical therapy (DPT) - Kinesiology while continuing to play sports at the college level. Baseball has taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. It has also taught me that failure is not something to be feared, but a tool to help motivate.
