Ever since I was little, my dream was to become a MLB player, specifically playing for the Yankees. Playing at the college level will definitely help me take that big step into accomplishing my dreams. Throughout my life, there have been times where I would succeed and time where I would fail, but I've learned that failing will only make someone better at anything that they are trying to pursue. Failing tells me that there is something that I need to fix in order to successful. My grades are a perfect example of that, I went from almost failing my classes my freshman year being an average student my sophomore year to making honor roll my junior year and high honor roll my senior year. As for baseball, there had been times where my teammates would make fun of me just because they thought I wasn't good enough to play. But I didn't let that stop me from continuing to push myself to be the best that I can be, as a matter of fact, I used that as a motivation tool to help me improve and become better. As I continued to see major improvements, I've started to see a lot of kids as well as other teammates that I played with have the same struggles that I had, but I tell them that you can do it and should never give up. What makes me different from everyone else is that I don't train for perfection and I don't try to be better than my teammates , but I do train to compete with myself and that when I look in the mirror, I can say, "you did that, you making. your way to the top, keep pushing."
