Jack Young '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to continue to play baseball while getting a great education.

My passion lies on the baseball field, my drive leads me to the gym at least 6 days a week and my determination has me with a 3.8 GPA.

The expectations I put on myself do not include failure. I hold myself accountable on and off of the baseball field and in the classroom.

Being 14 hours away from my home in Canada while going to school in North Carolina has taught me so much about myself. I have been self motivated since starting here last year.  I currently work out 4 days a week before class starts with Edge Athletic on-site Baseball Training. This is over and above the practicing we do as a baseball team. 

I lead a well rounded personal life which is really important to me. If I’m not at baseball or in the gym, I can be found with my friends and family.
