Reese Ballard '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. The first time I ever stepped onto the field, I fell in love with the game. There have been things in life that have really motivated me to get better, and be the best possible player I can be. I was always underestimated as a player.  No one ever thought that I would ever be good enough to play competitively, but I use this to remind myself to get better everyday.  If I wanted to succeed, I always had to get better, and never be satisfied with my previous success. 

Academics is my main focus in school. Baseball will always come second, because without being educated, you can't go anywhere big in life. I will always take the hardest class I can find, because I love the challenge. I'm looking for a school that would not only challenge me athletically, but also academically. I believe that with not only my talent, but with my work ethic, leadership, and the ability to be a great teammate, I know that I would have what it takes to be a player for your program.
