I have played baseball since I was 4 years old. Baseball is the one sport where I feel at home. The baseball field is my place of peace. Once I step in between those white lines I am at home. I find the challenge of becoming a better baseball player one that I like to face head on. I love stepping into the box and seeing what the pitcher is going to throw me. I love knowing that I can help my team, and that my success has a direct impact on our success as a whole. I love knowing that I can help my team, and that I am creating friendships for life. I have truly enjoyed the experience of traveling across the country and playing baseball. I have seen some amazing competition, and continue to strive and put in extra work so that I can compete with them. I have dreams of competing at the highest level, and I know that the work I put in now will help me continue playing after high school. I have learned that my performance on the field is equally as important as my performance in the classroom. I continue to work daily to make myself a better person and a better student-athlete. I am the first on to acknowledge how much I struggled during my freshman year of high school. Being 100% virtual due to the pandemic, and being a freshman in high school really worked against me. However, I learned a lot about my strengths and weakness and am working to improve my grades as well as become a better overall student now that we are back in person.
