If you asked me three years ago if I saw myself playing a sport I would’ve said sports just aren’t for me. It wasn’t until I stepped on the field of my high school and played my first game, I realized lacrosse was a deep passion of mine. I have played Defense, Attack, Mid-field and Goalie. Originally I started out as a defensive player, goalie came into play my previous season when I volunteered to be the back up and our main goalie got a concussion the first game. At first I thought it wasn’t for me, but as the season progressed it became the position I loved most. In addition to playing lacrosse I am in the highest ranked choir in the state and the A capella group as well. Our choir preforms over 56 times a school year. I have a Job at my local grocery store and am also in 3 clubs. Although I keep a very busy schedule I am willing to take as much time as needed to further my future in lacrosse. I think I’m a good candidate because I am willing to go out of my comfort zone and work hard to become the best player I can be. These past few years I’ve tried the hardest I ever have in school to stay in sports and raise my GPA for better opportunities like this . My grade average comes out to an A because lacrosse has pushed me to be better. As far as my character I try to be inclusive and strive to keep away from negativity. I try to be a person my teammates can lean on and trust to be honest. I am willing to practice any amounted time needed to get better for my team. I look forward to hearing from any schools about my future lacrosse career.
