Playing varsity baseball (starter) at my school as a 7th grader was definitely a special moment for me as a middle schooler and being told I could play and start as a rising freshman in high school for the varsity team was very special. I believe that special opportunities like this happen in life academically and athletically through hard-work and having a focus. I believe that if you want to get to the next level, you need to have tunnel vision and focus on your goal without getting side tracked. I think one of the main things that has shaped/influenced me in life is when I had a season where I lost my focus and I did not play well at all in games. Looking back on that year I never want that to happen again and ever since then I have wanted to focus all my efforts on being a great student-athlete. Academically I want to get all A's through high school and be in the higher percentile of my class with a high ACT and SAT score. I want to find a program that fits what I want to do in life academically and as an athlete. I believe I have the talent to compete at a high level, but I also possess hard work, good character, respect, and pride and I believe I have the leadership skills to make a strong impact on a program.
