My goal is to play baseball for a university that is both athletically and academically competitive, where I can continue to learn and develop, contributing to the program, hopefully during my Freshman season.
As an athlete and student, I believe I have an advantage over many others entering college. I have always been the youngest player on my team, and in the classroom, working harder to excel on and off the field. I feel this will assist me entering college and facing competition of many different ages and levels.
I have played the last 3 seasons of Showcase baseball at the 17U level, starting when I was 15, facing players committed to D1 schools of all 5 major conferences, and have been able to steal bases routinely. I am typically given the green light, and have not been thrown out in 3 seasons. I recently participated in the PG 17U WWBA tournament and led my team in stolen bases, stealing 4 out of 4.
I am also an honor student in the STEM program at Salisbury High School, taking honors and AP courses and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I am in the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society for Engineering, and have a 27 ACT score, with 28 Superscore.
I plan to major in Mechanical Engineering and aspire to be an academic All-American, hoping my hard work and dedication in the classroom and on the field will make me a great addition to any program and university. I look forward to joining you.
