Hello- My name is Robert Beatty; I am a rising Senior attending Swansboro High School, Swansboro, NC. I am a left-handed hitting/right-handed throwing catcher who also plays third base.
I have played baseball since I was six years old. Ever since I stepped on the field I have been in love with the game and I haven’t looked back. I am committed to baseball, my teammates and my coaches! I plan to give it my all, each and everyday to meet my goals. My goal is to play baseball at the College level.
I am a good student who takes my education pretty seriously. I am not 100% decided between two majors but, it will most likely be a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology or Criminal Justice. Once my degree is complete I would like to join the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer. My mom, dad and step dad all served and retired from the military after 20 years of faithful service and I would like to follow in their foot steps and carry on that tradition.
I would like to consider a college that fits my academic needs that also has a great athletic program to play baseball. I am goal oriented, dedicated and a self motivated individual and I believe I would be an enormous asset to any baseball team. My competitive nature makes me an outstanding performer under pressure, which is exactly what is needed behind the dish. I am excited to take this to the next level.
