Max O'Rourke '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Max O’Rourke. Throughout my childhood baseball has always been a very important part of my life.  I would like to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level to continue to develop my skills, and grow as a person.

Another thing I love about baseball is being able to interact with youth and seeing the next generation of baseball players grow.  I consistently volunteer at a youth baseball camps through the summer and winter through my high school 

Playing both baseball and football, I’m able to incorporate more than just baseball knowledge into my play.  The leadership skills I learn not only help me personally, but also help me reach out to my teammates. 

One thing I have learned through playing competitive sports is, not everything is going to come natural and most of the time I need to put in the hard work if I really want something.
