I love the game. I am passionate about playing and love being on the court and in the gym with my second family. And I love it when my team comes together for great wins. My coaches have taught me to have a great technical understanding of the game. I can read the other team and direct traffic on our side of the court. I am always coachable and able to take feedback and continue to improve.
I've grown up in club volleyball since I was 9. I have always played at Mintonette in Columbus, Ohio. This year we are ranked he 11th club in the country I was captain of my team last year and my coach said it it is because I inspire my teammates to work harder. I was again voted to be team captain by my teammates again this year, which I am very proud of and will do my best to be a leader, motivator and friend to all of my teammates. I am a DS, but last year played all around, rarely coming off the court. This year, I am doing some all around, but mostly DS. I leave everything I have to give on the court whether it be at practice or in a game. I do the same in the classroom. I ended my 8th grade year last year with a 3.92. And I am doing the same so far as a freshman. I am only 14, but believe I want to go into the medical field as an anesthesiologist.
I was named to all tournament team at the St. Louis Nike President’s Day Classic last year.
I have had 3 USAV appearances in a row... in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Coming in 11th place, 3rd place and this year winning the bronze bracket. I am healthy with no injuries and I am not going to be done playing this game and improving in 3 years-- I think I have a lot I can bring to a college team and I would love to be a part of team that I can grow with. I think being a part of a college team while going to college is right for me.
