My name is Jackson Clevenger. I am currently a 16 year old junior playing my second year of Spartans Varsity baseball at the McConnellsburg High School in McConnellsburg, PA. I have been playing the game of baseball since the age of 4. I have played for teams in Pennsylvania and in Texas. I have competed in our local Little League organizations in both States. I have played on traveling teams in the Houston & Dallas metroplexes. Those teams were affiliated with USSSA Baseball & Perfect Game. I was born lefthanded but I throw, pitch and hit righthanded. Over the years, I have played mostly the infield positions and have settled in and love playing 3rd base. Last year, I led our Varsity team with a .441 batting average and through (11) games of this season, I am currently batting .452 with 17 RBIs. I just finished a game last night (4/23/23) pitching a solid 7 innings with a team best of (16) strikeouts, (1) walk and (0) runs allowed.
I love the game of baseball. I enjoy being the teammate who encourages the team to compete at our very best every time we take the field. I always give 110% to my team and my coaches on and off the field.
On a personal note, my hobbies are hiking, go-kart racing and target shooting. I have a 3.9 GPA, and I am planning to major in business and marketing when I attend college.
