When I was little my mom's friend got me a soccer ball and I loved that ball more than anything. That is actually what got me into soccer and I started playing when I was 4 years old. I had many great memories over the course of my soccer career. One of the greatest memories and feelings was last soccer season when we beat our rival team in the regular season and for the ICC championship. Even then I knew that we would need to improve for the districts and that I would also need to focus on myself to get better whether I played offense or defense. Another great memory I have is that I had the opportunity when I was younger to play on a travel team with girls and boys 2 to 3 years older than me. Playing soccer has taught me that when you put time, effort, and passion into something you love the possibilities are endless. Not only do I have to put that passion into soccer but also into my schooling. To be in National Honor Society and as a student athlete I have to put in the same work and effort in order to get the best grades I can.
