Mason Vasquez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mason Vasquez, I am 6'2" and weigh 190 pounds. I have been playing baseball since I was four years old.  There's nothing I enjoy more than being on the diamond. My parents and I have traveled all over the United States so I could play in select baseball tournaments. I've had great coaches that have taught me how to respect the game and I know that's why my love for the game is strong.

I am extremely motivated to play baseball in college, and actually that is one of my goals.  I work hard in the classroom and on the field.  Coaches have told me that I am capable of competing at a Division I level, however I know there is great baseball in all divisions.  I have always lived in Texas, and for some reason colleges in the southern states appeal to me.  However, if the opportunity presented itself, I would choose the path with the best coaches and most competitive baseball for myself, regardless of the location.  Eventually I would like to be a high school or college baseball coach.
